It’s the dawn of a new era.   

Cyborganic Solutions Corporation has finally done it. 

After years of research and development, they’ve created a humanoid robot indistinguishable from a natural human. They call it a Simulant.   

Vincent Shaw feels like his life has been one disaster after another. Despite a promising career at Cyborganic Solutions, his love life is in shambles. Even in this hyper-connected world, he can't help but feel deeply disconnected from others. His closest companion is an AI named Daisy, an entity he created in secret at home. 

On the big day of the unveiling of the first Simulant, the building where Vincent works is bombed by terrorists. 

During the chaos, Vincent rescues one Simulant from destruction and uploads Daisy into it. The consequences of this will not only place him at a crossroads in his life, but also in the crosshairs of many deadly global organizations. 

Now fugitives on the run, Vincent and Daisy soon uncover a conspiracy so deep and disturbing it will turn all of society upside down.
